I am a qualified and experienced Humanistic Counsellor, providing individual counselling to young people (from 16) and adults in a safe and confidential space, both online and face to face. I can help you to understand and explore the challenging issues in your life, such as anxiety, relationship difficulties or depression.
I am fully-insured and I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy working within its framework for good practice.
As a Humanistic Counsellor, I aim to provide a supportive, encouraging, and empathic therapeutic relationship with my clients. My intention is to accept you as a whole person, whatever you bring to your counselling session whilst aiming to understand and work with the way that you view your current situation.
I have extensive experience with working with young people and am DBS checked
(Number: 001079220779).
I have also supported several counselling students through their training at institutions including Metanoia, CARA Counselling at Worthing College and The Wealden Psychology Institute.

How might counselling help you?
Counselling can provide an opportunity to talk to someone impartial, in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. Together we can work through the personal difficulties you are suffering with, and seek to gain insight and clarification for you, so that you are able to move forward in your life.
-----
I have two ways of working with clients:
Face to face counselling
I offer therapy in a private space in Hurstpierpoint and also work outdoors in a secluded woodland if suitable for a client's needs. For full details and photos of these spaces, please visit the 'Therapy spaces' submenu of the 'Therapies offered' page or click here.
Online counselling
I provide counselling online via Zoom or Skype. This may be particularly suited to those who don't live nearby, or who require more flexibility in fitting their counselling sessions around the rest of their life.
